The Statistics on Foreigners with valid Residence Authorisation or Registration Certificate is compiled from files extracted from the Central Register of Foreigners and reports the number of foreigners holding the required residence document required by Spanish immigration regulations on the reference date: residence authorization (for non-EU citizens), registration certificate or EU family member card (for EU citizens and their family members) or TIE-Withdrawal Agreement (for British and their family members eligible for the withdrawal agreement as a result of Brexit).

These data are published every six months, referring to June 30th and December 31st of each year since 2013.

Documents with reference date between December 31, 1996 and September 30, 2013 are only available in Excel format.
