    The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) provides information on employment in Europe through the EURES network.

    • Certificate of the company or companies in which you have worked. It is important that you include, in addition to the period of employment, the activity of the company and your job category.
    • Certificate of working life or equivalent document.
    • Company certificates in which the job category is recorded.
    • The European Union form (U1, U2, U3, E301 or E303, as appropriate), for possible rights in Spain of employment benefits.
    • Social security number.

  • If you have been working as a self-employed or self-employed person, you need to communicate the cessation of professional activity, both to Social Security, so that your obligation to contribute as a self-employed worker ceases, and to the tax authorities, so that your obligation to make the annual declaration of income ceases.

    It is important that you communicate your address in Spain for notification purposes.
