What the FIS is investing in

The fund approved its first operations in December 2024. Since then, the Interministerial Technical Committee on Investments has already validated more than 30 operations, allocating catalytic capital of social impact to organizations throughout the geography.

With this investment, it is helping to address social challenges such as the employability of people with disabilities, women and young people at risk of exclusion, migrants or the long-term unemployed; access to decent housing, mental health, entrepreneurship, homelessness, support for inclusion, the circular economy and territorial cohesion.

One of the big bets is investment in housing. For this reason, the “Social Housing Impact Line” has been activated, which will allocate at least 40 million euros to projects focused on providing an affordable rental home to the most vulnerable people.
