The Statistics on Foreign persons with authorization to stay for study purposes are compiled from files extracted from the Central Register of Foreigners and show the number of third-country nationals (non-EU-EFTA) who on the reference date have a valid residence permit for studies, student mobility, etc. non-working practices or volunteer services, and the relatives of students who have obtained a stay permit linked to them.
These data are published quarterly, referring to the last day of each quarter since 2013.
The data from the last quarters may be affected in subsequent publications due to the incorporation of new information.
