Announcement and regulations

Object/Purpose

The programmes financed by the General State Budget will be aimed at comprehensive reception for the care of basic needs and support for the insertion and for equipment and adaptation of buildings. The programmes co-financed by the ESF will be aimed at job placement through employment programmes, awareness-raising and promotion of equal treatment and non-discrimination in the workplace and the training of professionals and volunteers.

The programmes co-financed by the FAMI will aim to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to develop in Spanish society (information, guidance and advice on the host society, in particular, programmes for learning Spanish and, where appropriate, co-official languages), programmes for young people and minors in the educational system, specific health programmes, programmes aimed at the specific needs of women, promotion of equal treatment and non-discrimination in society and programmes for the identification of experiences and good practices.

Beneficiary entities

The entities or non-governmental organizations that attend the call must meet the requirements established in article 4 of Order ESS/1423/2012 of 29 June:

  • To have as primary institutional purposes the implementation of activities in favour of the groups referred to in article 1.
  • Lack of profit purposes.
  • To have a State sphere of action, except for those organizations whose territorial sphere of action is Ceuta and Melilla.
  • Deberán estar legalmente constituidas e inscritas en el correspondiente registro administrativo estatal.
  • Have sufficient structure and capacity to guarantee the fulfillment of the objectives, accrediting the necessary operational experience.
  • Not to have reinstated more than 40 percent of the grants and subsidies received in any of the last five calls.

Recipients of the projects

The beneficiaries of the programmes co-financed by FAMI are third-country nationals who are legally residing or, where appropriate, in the process of obtaining legal residence. To the extent necessary for the effective implementation of the subsidised programmes, they may admit the direct relatives of such persons to their actions.

Certain activities aimed at promoting dialogue between the abovementioned third-country nationals and the host society and promoting their acceptance by the host society may be aimed at the general population. The recipients of the programmes co-financed by ESF must have the corresponding authorization of residence or work and residence. The recipients of the comprehensive reception programmes will be immigrants who are nationals of third countries.

Deadline for submission of applications

In accordance with Article 6 of Order ESS/1423/2012 of 29 June, applications to participate in this call must be submitted within twenty calendar days from the day following the publication of this Resolution in the “Official State Gazette (BOE 04/07/2015)”.
