Family reunification - Meeting with a family member residing in Spain
The Spanish regulations on foreigners include the right of foreign persons legally resident in Spain to regroup their relatives. The family members who may be able to regroup with a foreigner residing in Spain are:
- The spouse or the person with whom the applicant maintains a relationship of affectivity similar to the conjugal
- The children of the resident alien and of the spouse or partner, including those adopted (provided that the adoption produces effects in Spain)
- Other foreign minors or incapacitated persons
- The ascendants of the resident alien, his or her spouse or domestic partner
