Functions

  1. Direction, promotion, control and delivery of service instructions on the collection of the resources of the Social Security system in the executive period.
  2. Postponement of payment and derivations of responsibility.
  3. Fractionation of refunds of benefits improperly received.
  4. Management of legally foreseen moratoria that involve deferred payment of debt already accrued.
  5. Management and coordination of insolvency proceedings involving the General Treasury of Social Security and the deduction procedure on public entities.
  6. Adoption of precautionary measures.
  7. Collection management in respect of companies that, by reason of their number of workers or other concurrent circumstances, are determined by the Director General, as well as any other function that the rules attribute, in the executive collection procedure, to the central services of the General Treasury of Social Security.
