1. The development of objective indicators of inclusive growth and inequality for the Spanish economy that can be used for the design and decision-making of new policies or the reformulation of existing ones.
2. The promotion of the incorporation of inclusion indicators in the decision-making process, in particular, in budget preparation.
3. The monitoring of beneficiaries of the set of spending and income policies and the effects of these policies in terms of inclusion and inequality, with special attention to those related to the labour market, education, health, environment, housing and innovation.
4. The definition and analysis of objectives linked to inclusive growth.
5. The continuous monitoring and ex-post evaluation of the degree of compliance with the objectives of inclusion and inclusive growth established, especially the Minimum Vital Income and other policies of the Department, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030.
6. The promotion and realization of studies and reports on the trajectories of inclusion of people belonging to different groups in a situation of vulnerability, which allow to examine the impact on these trajectories of the different public policies and benefits.
7. The exploitation of databases of inclusion indicators at the regional, national and international levels for the conduct of studies and reports that include the necessary information for decision-making by the Department ' s governing and higher bodies in relation to the policies of their competence in collaboration with the competent bodies and units.
8. Support and advice to different ministerial departments and other public administrations on objectives and indicators of inclusion, without prejudice to the competences attributed to the Secretary of State for the 2030 Agenda.
9. Coordination, including the planning, monitoring and promotion of statistical activity carried out in the Department.
10. The elaboration and analysis of the statistics assigned to the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration and that are not expressly attributed to another unit.
11. The formulation of the National Statistical Plan and the annual programmes that carry it out within the Department and the preparation of the statistics assigned to it.
12. The coordination of the public dissemination of the statistics carried out in the Department, which will be carried out in a consensual manner with the different superior and executive bodies and the management entities and common services of the Social Security, dependent or attached to the Department.
13. Institutional coordination in statistical matters with the National Institute of Statistics, with other ministerial departments, with other public administrations and with international agencies, in particular, with the Statistical Office of the European Union regarding the statistics that correspond to the Department required by European Union regulations, without prejudice to the competences assigned to other units of the General Secretariat.
