On April 15, Social Security membership recorded 21,612,776 jobs in the daily series, which is 292,479 more than at the end of March. “Employment continues to show an enormous dynamism maintained over time. For the first time in history, between April 14 and 15, the daily membership has exceeded 21.6 million members, up to the figure of 21,612,776 employed.
The series in seasonally adjusted terms reached 21,511,595 members in the first half of April, thanks to an increase of 39,335 members in the last two fortnights.
If we deduct seasonality and the calendar effect, in the last year affiliation has grown by 466,931 people, a figure in line with both pre- and post-pandemic levels, with an increase of 148,188 affiliates since the beginning of the year 2025.
With data available through April 15, the total number of affiliates has increased by 657,216 people in the adjusted series since December 2023, and by 1,208,775 since December 2022, prior to the entry into force of the labor reform.
