The Secretary of State for Migration, Isabel Castro, and the President of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), José Manuel Franco, held a working meeting on Monday to analyze the violent incidents that have occurred throughout this season in the sports field.
Both have condemned these episodes and reiterated the message of zero tolerance for racism, while valuing initiatives that the Government of Spain can implement to combat hate speech and eradicate violence in sport.
Isabel Castro and José Manuel Franco will present the conclusions of this meeting in the institutional agreement of the follow-up committee of the Spanish Observatory of Racism and Xenophobia (OBERAXE), which this Tuesday, June 13 will meet at the headquarters of the Superior Council of Sports.
