El período para solicitar la regularización en España empezará en un plazo aproximado de dos meses

The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, through the State Secretariat for Migration, recalls that at the moment the deadline for the submission of applications for the extraordinary regularization of migrants is not open and, in this regard, the SEM calls for calm.

The State Secretariat for Migration underlines that, for the time being and until next Friday, February 6, the initial text is open to public hearing, which means that it is open to citizen participation for consultation and presentation of contributions. Once this period is over, the estimated contributions will be included and will be forwarded to various institutions for the submission of reports. In this section, the report of the Council of State will be fundamental, which will grant the maximum legal guarantees to this Royal Decree, the final version of which will be passed again by the Council of Ministers and, finally, will be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE). That is when the deadline for submitting applications begins, which is expected to be around the beginning of April.

In any case, the SEM asks citizens who may be affected by this process to consult the official sources of the Government of Spain and accredited information channels, such as the website and social networks of this Ministry, to know first-hand the deadlines, as well as the final content of a text that, as has been repeated in recent days, is not yet the definitive one.
