El Ministerio y el COE firman un acuerdo para favorecer la integración deportiva en los centros de acogida de migrantes

The Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, José Luis Escrivá, and the President of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE), Alejandro Blanco, have signed an agreement to favor the sports integration of migrants served in the reception system. The text includes the commitment to build facilities and spaces that reinforce participation in sport in the centers of the system, with the aim of promoting the integration of the users in the localities in which they are located.

The agreement provides for the participation of the COE in the design of future sports facilities, in which the municipalities will also be involved to maximize the possibilities of use of these spaces both by migrants and by the rest of the residents of the municipalities.

In order to follow up on the contents of the agreement, a joint working group has been set up consisting of heads of the Ministry and the COE.
