1. The preparation of normative projects and reports on matters related to immigration and emigration, as well as the preparation of normative proposals related to the elaboration, approval, transposition and application of European Union or international standards, in matters within its competence, without prejudice to the competences of the Technical General Secretariat and in coordination with it.
2. The elaboration of normative development instructions addressed to the organs of the General Administration of the State in the territory, within its functional scope of competences.
3. Technical support for participation in the field of migration at the level of the European Union and other international organizations, as well as coordination, as a national point of contact, of the European Migration Network in Spain, without prejudice to the competences of the Technical General Secretariat in this regard and in coordination with it.
