The Spanish Observatory on Racism and Xenophobia (OBERAXE) gathers information on projects, surveys, resources, reports and research promoted by the Secretary of State for Migration and other ministerial departments, entities and organisations in order to serve as a platform offering information and analysis and spurring on work to combat racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance as well as hate incidents and crimes . The work of the Observatory is done in cooperation with various levels of governmental institutions and civil society organizations in Spain, with European Union and other international institutions.
