Reception system of International and Temporary Protection

Reception and asylum

The State Secretariat for Migration, through the General Directorate for the Management of the System for the Reception of International and Temporary Protection, is responsible for providing the necessary material reception services to ensure dignified living conditions and support the process of integration and autonomy of the beneficiaries.

These services are provided to asylum seekers or beneficiaries of international protection, stateless persons, and beneficiaries of temporary protection who lack sufficient economic means.

The beneficiaries of the system are accommodated in a network distributed throughout the national territory, consisting of resources and centers directly managed by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, or through coordinated action with third-sector entities.

The services and actions developed by this network of system resources complement those of other public administrations within the scope of their competencies.
