Functions

  1. That in the field of collections, payments and other acts of financial management of the Social Security System, the General Authorising Officer for Payments of the same in accordance with the provisions of article 10.g) of the General Regulation of the Financial Management of Social Security, approved by Royal Decree 1391/1995, of 4 August and other development provisions.
  2. Authorization of the opening and cancellation of accounts in the collaborating financial entities.
  3. Likewise , it will assume the management of the reinsurance and other competences in the field of collection management, in a voluntary period, of the resources of the Social Security system whose income corresponds to the mutuals of accidents at work and occupational diseases of the Social Security, as well as the functions attributed to the General Treasury of the Social Security with respect to the management of the Social Security Reserve Fund.
