Inclusion subsidizes with more than 25 million euros actions to defend human rights and promote social coexistence and cohesion

The Official State Gazette (BOE) publishes today the call for grants for the development of actions of general interest, in the field of foreigners, aimed at defending the human rights of foreign people, as well as promoting coexistence and social cohesion, cofinanced by European Union funds, amounting to 25,125,000 euros.
The General Directorate of Migration Management of the State Secretariat for Migration calls for these grants to develop a series of competitive activities aimed at defending the human rights of foreign persons, promoting social cohesion and coexistence and raising awareness against racism, xenophobia and hate speech.
The deadline for implementation of the subsidized projects will be from 1 January to 31 December 2025.
A grant may be requested, at most, for a project for each of the priorities specified in the publication itself.
Co-financed with European funds
On the one hand, the projects cofinanced by the European Social Fund+ are detailed, which are classified according to the following typology:
- A.1. Awareness-raising projects against racism, xenophobia, hate crimes and other related forms of intolerance, as well as on gender-based violence, in all its possible manifestations, including genital mutilation and trafficking in human beings. A maximum of 150,000 euros is allocated to this group per project request
- A.2.Projects aimed at the prevention of racism, xenophobia, hate crimes and other associated forms of intolerance, with a maximum amount of 300,000 euros per project as in the following two categories (A3 and A4)
- A.3. Projects aimed at victims or potential victims of human trafficking and/or sexual exploitation and their descendants.
- A.4. Projects aimed at victims or potential victims of gender-based violence and their descendants, in all their possible manifestations, including genital mutilation.
- Projects aimed at specific groups aimed at guidance and advice in the fight against racism and xenophobia, hate crimes, human trafficking and gender violence.A maximum amount of application per project Priority A5 of 200,000 euros is fixed, the same maximum amount as for the next category (A6)
- A.6.Transferable and evaluable pilot projects, aimed at the design, implementation and evaluation of innovative solutions for the improvement of intervention systems against racism, xenophobia and related intolerance; as well as to prevent discrimination against immigrants.
Projects financed by the PGE
Two categories of proposals will be financed exclusively from the General State Budgets:
- B.1. Awareness-raising projects against racism, xenophobia, hate crimes and other related forms of intolerance, as well as on gender-based violence, in all its possible manifestations, including genital mutilation and trafficking in human beings. A maximum amount of application per project of 150,000 euros is established
- B.2. Projects of equipment and adaptation of buildings. In this modality, a maximum amount of application per project of 50,000 euros is established.
Submission of applications
Applications will be made through the TAYS computer application, which is available at the URL: https://expinterweb.inclusion.gob.es/taysportal
As for the deadline for submitting applications, they must be submitted within ten working days from the day following the publication in the BOE of the extract of the Call for Applications Resolution.That is, from August 7 to 21, 2024.
