The Secretary of State for Social Security meets with the social partners to agree on the last part of pension reform

The Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions, Borja Suárez, met this morning with representatives of the social partners to resume the dialogue on pensions. Suárez has been accompanied by José Fernández Albertos, general director of Social Security Planning, among other members of the ministry.
Specifically, the Pension Dialogue Bureau today addressed the start of negotiations on the only two pending reforms of Component 30 of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan: “Adaptation to the new professional careers of the calculation period for the calculation of the retirement pension” and “Adaptation of the maximum contribution base of the system”.
The meeting was also attended, on behalf of the social agents, by Rosa Santos, Director of Labor Relations of CEOE; Teresa Díaz de Terán, Director of the Socio-Labor Department of CEPYME; Carlos Bravo, Secretary of Public Policies and Social Protection of CCOO, and Cristina Estévez, Secretary of Institutional Policy and Territorial Policies of UGT, among others.
