85% of the contents in social networks monitored by the Spanish Observatory of Racism and Xenophobia (OBERAXE) in the month of April seeks to discredit immigrant people, since they present the group as a threat (55%) or incite to their expulsion (30%). The report also highlights the impact of the Extraordinary Administrative Regularization process in relation to target groups. The content directed towards the generic category “immigrants” represented 13% of the total messages for the first time.
